Dawes is an American rock band composed of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Wylie Gelber, and Alex Casnoff, hailing from Los Angeles, California. Dawes was formed from the band Simon Dawes when co-songwriter Blake Mills left, abandoning their post-punksound in favor of folk rock.
Dawes is part of the Laurel Canyon sound, whose influences include Crosby, Stills, and Nash and Neil Young, among others, centered in the North Hills area of Los Angeles. At the invitation of producer Jonathan Wilson, the band joined an informal jam session in the area that included Conor Oberst, The Black Crowes's Chris Robinson, and Benmont Tench. The band recorded their debut album,North Hills, in Laurel Canyon in a live setting to analog tape[2], resulting in a sound that Rolling Stone magazine called "authentically vintage". Wilco multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone is also credited with appearing on the release.
The band made their television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on April 14 2010.

The Hymns are an indie rock band based out of Brooklyn, NY. Originally consisting of North Carolina natives Brian Harding (vocals,guitar) and Jason Roberts (guitar, wurlitzer), the band picked up Texas-based rockers Tony Kent (drums) and Matt Shaw (bass guitar) upon arriving in NYC. Since debuting with the "infectious" Brother/Sister the Hymns have been steadily gaining in popularity, appearing with such headliners as Ben Kweller, Hot Hot Heat, Beck, and the Sam Roberts Band. In 2008, the band released their second album, Travel in Herds, on the Blackland Records label. Spin Magazine named them as one of the artists to watch in 2008.
The band is a result of a lifelong friendship between Brian Harding and Jason Roberts, of whom formed the band while attendingAppalachian State University. Following their graduation, the power-duo temporarily disbanded, with Roberts joining the Ben Kwellerband while Brian relocated to New York City. During Roberts' stint with Ben Kweller, the lead guitarist met and became close with band-member John Kent, who went on to formBlackland Records located in Celeste, TX. After hearing some of the band's work, John quickly signed the band in 2005, along with Roberts, who quit his day job to jump back on board.
During recording sessions at "The Vault" (Blackland Records), the band met up with Matt Shaw and Tony Kent, two local musicians who shared the band's common background of being childhood friends. With the addition to the band, Brian and Jason's dream had finally become a reality, and the group quickly started the recording process, releasing their debut album Brother/Sister in the Fall of 2006. This record release generated national attention with publications such as Spin Magazine, The New Yorker, and MTV News started taking notice. With their newly-acquired popularity, the band appeared with popular artists, including Ben Kweller, the Redwalls, and Butch Walker.
Amidst national tours, the band returned to the studio in 2007 to record their second album, Travel in Herds, which was released in the spring of 2008.
During SXSW 2009, Hymns hired Nick Stewart as UK Management. They released new tracks, via the Appaloosa EP, on July 21, 2009. Joey McClellan joins the band for this third installment of addicting sounds.

Langhorne Slim is an American singer-songwriter, born Sean Scolnick on August 20, 1980. Originally from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, he attended high school at The Solebury School in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, part of the SUNY system.
He began to gain public notice through several years of touring with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players and an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. His song Electric Love Letter was chosen as number 5 on the Rolling Stone editor's top ten picks and was also in the movie Waitress. He has been seen on tours with Cake, The Avett Brothers, Murder By Death, Jeffrey Lewis, The Violent Femmes, Lucero, Rocky Votolato, the Woes, Josh Ritter, Drive-By Truckers, and The Low Anthem.
In 2006, Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles signed to V2 Records for one EP and an LP. The deal was dropped after the release of the Engine EP in 2006, and the band signed to Kemado Records, and released a self-titled album on April 29th, 2008. Slim performed the first single from the album, Restless, on David Letterman in March 2008. Following the release, Slim toured the US and Europe. In the summer of 2009, Langhorne Slim began playing larger venues including the Newport Folk Festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Lollapalooza, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival. The album Be Set Free was released on September 29, 2009.
On August 9, 2009, Langhorne Slim sang "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch during a Philadelphia Phillies-Florida Marlins game at Citizens Bank Park as WXPN's Artist to Watch and has twice been featured on the station's live at noon concert series.
The song "Worries" from his self titled album is featured in a Travelers Insurance commercial which was launched on October 9, 2009.
Langhorne Slim's band consists of Jeff Ratner on up-right bass, Malachi DeLorenzo on drums and David Moore on keyboard and banjo.

Rosi Golan is an Israeli born singer songwriter who has made many stops in her travels, including Germany, Paris, and finally ending up in Los Angeles at the age of nine, where she grew up. During her travels, she not only managed to hone her infectiously melodic songwriting, but also learned to speak three languages fluently: French, Hebrew and English.
Rosi is indeed a long way from home, but certainly in the right place to showcase her unique talent for rich, dark melodies and a voice that not only draws you in, but still haunts you the next day. While living in LA, Rosi was inundated with creative lessons from violin, to voice, to acting. At 19, she decided to focus on singing and picked up her first guitar, teaching herself to play and write songs. Six weeks later, she was performing at her first open mic. Since then, Rosi has played the Acoustic Playhouse, Molly Malones, The Whiskey and Genghis Cohen in LA and The Bitter End, The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall and CBs Gallery in NYC.
In the past few years, Rosi has worked with a number of acclaimed writers and producers from all over the world, including Jeff Cohen, Boots, Richard Cuason, Nate Campany, Tim Gordine, Richard Lobb, Pete Gordeno, Marc Swersky, Robert Conley, etc.
But its her continuing collaboration with singer/songwriter Jamie Hartman (Ben’s Brother) that has yielded numerous songs, including the single “Let Me Out”, from Ben’s Brother debut CD (Relentless/EMI/Virgin). The song was recently featured on an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”.
Rosi was recently mentioned in Billboard Magazine. She was the winner of the first ASCAP Robert Allen Award for songwriting excellence, for which she performed at Lincoln Center. Finally settled in New York, Rosi has already kick-started the momentum that launches careers.
